WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE "BOARD-CERTIFIED" IN DBT?
Board-certification through the DBT-LBC indicates that a provider has passed an extensive multi-stage evaluation process ensuring they possess the training, skill and overall qualifications to provide high-quality DBT. In other words, it offers consumers the assurance that a provider has demonstrated adequate knowledge and expertise in providing DBT properly. The DBT-LBC is the only DBT certifying body endorsed by Marsha M. Linehan, Ph.D., founder and original developer of DBT. Additional information can be found on the DBT-LBC website.
